"This isn't a slide deck read by a stranger."

The flood where cobwebs on the floor joists proved the water never reached the first floor. The roofer who tarped two-thirds of a roof and hammered nails through good shingles. You don't just learn legal definitions; you learn how to make honest, defensible judgment calls in the gray areas where the textbook stops being useful.

ANSWERS & GUIDANCE

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about getting your license and launching your career.

No! Our Texas All-Lines and Florida All-Lines pre-licensing courses are state-approved to administer the official exam directly online. When you pass our course exam, you receive your official certificate of completion that exempts you 100% from having to take the Pearson VUE or Prometric state proctored exam.

You have lifetime access to your coursework! Study at your own pace from any computer, tablet, or smartphone. Whether you finish in 4 days or 4 months, you never lose access.

An All-Lines license allows you to adjust virtually every type of claim: residential homeowners, commercial, auto, liability, inland marine, and catastrophe damage. A Property & Casualty (P&C) license is restricted and excludes certain liability and specialty lines. We strongly recommend the All-Lines license to maximize your deployment opportunities with IA firms.

If your home state does not issue an independent adjuster license (e.g. CO, IL, OH, PA, TN, VA), you can designate Texas or Florida as your Designated Home State (DHS). Once licensed in TX or FL, over 30 other states will issue you a reciprocal license without requiring you to take their individual state exams.

Xactimate is the industry standard software used to calculate repair costs, labor rates, and sketch structures for 90%+ of all property claims in North America. Independent adjusting firms won't deploy an adjuster to a hurricane or hail storm unless they can prove basic proficiency in Xactimate sketching and scoping.
